1991
Hellenurme, A. (Estonian Agricultural Univ., Tartu (Estonia))
One thousand two hundred and seventy samples of mixed feeds were analyzed in the years 1985...1989. In the Central Laboratory of Mixed Feeds by Departemant of Animal Nutrition of Estonian Agricultural Academy. The samples were taken from all Estonian mixed feed plants. Analytical data are discussed using the feedings standards and allowances. From all of these samples ca a half (620 samples) were taken from birds' mixed feeds. The leyers mixed feed contained 2,61 calcium and 0,77 phosphorus; it is lower than the allowance of the all-Union standards: for calcium - 0,5, and for phosphorus 0,03, respectively. Calcium content was under the standard level also in mixed feeds for chickens, in biglets starter and in mixed feed for fattening swine. However, this conclusion can be made, if average content of calcium is taken into consideration, the picture changes, when the results of individual analysis are estimated
