This experiment was conducted to study the effect of four levels (0, 120, 160, and 200 kg/ha) of compound fertilizer on wheat cultivars (Saberbeg, Mexi-pak and Yecora rajo) under rain fed conditions for two successive seasons. The results indicated that the cultivar Yecora rajo gave the highest grain and biological yield in the first season while in the second season there was no significant differences between Yecora rajo and Mexi-pak in grain and biological yield but they outyielded Saberbeg. However Saberbeg has the tallest plants in both season. Application of fertilizer increased grain and biological yield, harvest index and some other yield components particularly, the highest levels
