Investigation of fauna of the pest insects and natural enemies by using the band trap in the pear [Pyrus pyrifolia] orchard, 2: Binding position of band trap
1990
Togashi, I. (Ishikawa Prefecture Coll. of Agriculture, Nonoichi (Japan))
The number of individual of mites that entered into the folded band traps was very small in Tsukihashi, Tsurugi-machi, Ishikawa Prefecture, 1989. Therefore, it was impossible to examine binding position of the folded band traps. A great number of Planococcus sp. entered into the folded band traps. In this case, the number of Planococcus sp. that entered into the folded band taps bound around the branches was larger than that of those which entered into the folded band traps bound around the trunks. It was, therefore, assumed that the folded band trap bound around a branch is more effective than that bound around a trunk, in controlling Planococcus sp. Two species of parasitoidea to Planococcus sp. were found. They were Pseudaphycus sp. and Anagyrus fujikona
