[Causes and prevention of udder diseases]

Violation of cow milking technology as the main cause of udder diseases is discussed. Conditions favouring the development of udder inflammation are pointed out. Symptoms and diagnostics of the disease are explained. Relationship between the operational condition of a milking machine and a healthy udder is analysed. Measures required for the control of udder deseases are suggested. Necessity to eliminate infectious deseases in order to produce ecologically clean high quality milk is emphasized.
