Nutritive value and productive capacity of Galega orientalis Lam. have been studied. Galega orientalis Lam. has been compared with other leguminous species. Its high total protein content and its ability to provide early green fodder in spring have been pointed out. The composition and quality of hay and haylage made from Galega orientalis mixed with cereals are discussed
