The given research contains the analysis of the existing national seed production system in Latvia, as well as the description of a new project aimed at the improvement of seedbreeding and production. The new project concerns such areas as seed breeding technology, seed output, seed purchase and realigation, seed protection and certification. The data of the analysis are given in tables.
