Problem of sample size in studies on physical properties of cereals

In the paper the lower number of measuremets in physical properties research of cereal plants was estimated. The number of measurements was estimated for the properties such as: the resistance of grain to mechanical loading, the grain-to-ear binding force, the resistance of crop stalk to tensile and binding force. The resistance experiment was performed on some of wheat and rye varieties
