Comparative analysis of the basic techniques of potato harvesting

The article presents an analysis of the techniques of potato harvesting with the help of a potato-lifter and potato harvester. Exploatation coefficient, working capacity, expenditure of work, time of machine running and cost of potato harvesting served as comparative indicators. Tests were carried out in normal conditions of potato-production course on an area of 14.5 ha. Tests were realized by the method of the work-day photography. In Polish agriculture conditions potato harvesting with the help of potato-lifter proved to be a more effective technique
