The research was carried out between 1987-1992 at the Laboratory of non-irrigated Agrotechnics of the Agricultural Research Station Simnic-Craiova, in a 3-year rotation: wheat-maize-sunflower on a brown-reddish luvic soil. The values of physical soil constants show that in the tilled variants the conditions for crop development are better than in the variants diskharrowed or chiselled. The correlation between soil contents in humus and the amount of nutritious elements (NPK) depending on the depth of taking samples is notable. The higher the soil content in humus, the richer is the soil in NPK in the sheet 0-20 cm. When the humus contents in a depth of 20-40 cm diminishes the three fertilizing elements diminish too
