The effect of fusicoccin on the composition of membrane polar lipids and their fatty acid residues in leaves and tillering nodes of winter wheat has been studied by thin-layer and gasliquid chromatography during low-temperature adaptation. The content of polar lipids (sulfo-, phospho- and especially galactolipids) is shown to increase under the effect of fusicoccin in leaves and tillering nodes of hardened and nonhardened winter wheat plants. The degree of unsaturation of membrane lipid fatty acids was not affected by fusicoccin, while the content of linolenic acid increased
