A method to interprete data of macro- and microstructural soil status
1994
Khitrov, N.B. | Chechueva, O.A.
A method is proposed to interprete data of macroaggregate analysis (dry and wet sieving) or microaggregate (microaggregate and granulometric analyses) status of soils. It is derived from computing generalized parameters for the mean weighed diameter (D) and entropy of particles content distribution (H) for separate types of structural analysis and deviation in particles size distribution in two conjugated types of analyses - mean weighed diameters of aggregates, that are destroyed with a harder treatment (D+), particles produced by aggregates with (D+) destruction (D-), 'stable' aggregates (Ds), entropy of particles content distribution (H+, H-, Hs), index of structural instability for a certain effect (R). A new index for soil macrostructure water stability (Rws) is proposed
