[Investigation into the yield stability and some traits of rye cultivars]

The yield and some traits of 15 rye cultivars were investigated in a 4-year period. The yield of rye varied in the years of investigation. The highest yield and high yield stability were found at the cultivars: Chodan, Halo, VSB-2546, Mercator and Breno. The mass of 1000 kernels and hectoliter mass varied in dependance on the year and location. The highest mass of 1000 kernels was found at the cultivars Halo, Culpan 3, Dankowskie srebrne. The hectoliter mass of kernels varied more than mass of 1000 kernels in the years of investigation. The cultivars Halo and Bandelier had the highest hectoliter mass. The height of plant varied in the years of investigation. The cultivars with lower stem had higher grain yield
