[Influence of temperature and the ways of packing on the possibility of long-term preservation of seeds of various paprika varieties]

Quality and the duration of pepper seed storing time depends on many complex biological and agroecological facts during the production and keeping bloom process of all kinds of seeds, which have been stored for five years on -18 deg C, on average will best remain kept if packed in Al- and Pe-bags, with 85.2 and the least if packed in paper bags (72.1). It is similar with the energy of bloom whose starting value is 71.2, best is kept packed in Al-bags (64.5), in Pe-bags (60.0) and the least in packed paper bags (22.1). With this a system of keeping and packing positive results could be obtained if seeds are of high biological value, moisture level of less then 6 and without the presence of pathogens.
