The researches were carried out during the 1988-1994 period, at the RIVFG Vidra. The pheromones studied were M.b. 4 for Mamestra brassicae L., M.t. 3 for Mamestra (Discestra) trifolii Hufn., M.o. for Mamestra oleracea L., M.s. for Mamestra suasa D. et C. and A. g. for Autographa gamma L. and the traps with ultraviolet rays were used as check. The analysis of the data obtained revealed that: the pheromones M.b. 4, M.t. 3, M.o., M.s. and A.g are more effective and their attractiveness is more numerous and better represented. The pheromones M.t. 3, M.o., M.s. and A.g attract very well the Noctuidae Lepidoptera adults, their selectivity reaching, according to their range of action, 96-98 percent for Mamestra trifolii, 59-65 percent for Mamestra oleracea, 78-84 percent for Mamestra suasa and 84-96 percent for Autographa gamma. The pheromones M.b. 4, M.t. 3, M.o., M.s. and A.g. can be used with good results to draw up long term forecasts, but their use for warning treatments is less probable, because of the lack of correlation between the evolution cycles of the numerous Lepidoptera species marking out the genus Mamestra.
