[Bioclimatological features of Cyprus]

Long-term average and extreme values recorded at nine stations representing the major microclimatic areas of Cyprus are presented for rainfall, air temperature, relative humidity, winds and solar energy. Degree-hours above and below 20 degrees C, and temperatures at 2-hourly internals are tabulated. The data are meant to enable assessing the degree of weather stress to humans and be used in designing air conditioning of homes and other premises.
