Possibility of use of low rate of Pivot 100 SL herbicide in leguminous crops

In the years 1991-93 the field experiments were conducted to investigate the weed control capacity of Pivot 100 SL herbicide (a.i. imazethapyr) used with different adjuvants in leguminous crops. The greatest weed control efficacy was obtained when Pivot 100 SL was applied after sowing or after postemergence with some additives. Addition of adjuvants to the postemergence spray solution allowed to use lower rate of this herbicide. The yield of leguminous crops depended on the timing and rate of herbicide application, addition of additives as well as weed control capacity
