During high level of infestation by cucumber downy mildew also resistant cultivar Aladyn has to be chemically protected. The first application of fungicide on the resistant cultivar can be 7 to 10 later than on standard cultivars of cucumber. Application of foliar fertilizer Resistim was very effective to controlling downy mildew. This product have been used as an effective inducer of resistency on cucumber and other vegetable diseases caused by fungi
