Thermophysical properties of carrot seeds

The thermophysical properties, especially the thermal conductivity, the coefficient of thermal diffusivity and specific heat are important for computations of heat exchanges during a storage of cereals and seeds. In the presented paper the thermophysical properties of carrot were assessed depending on moisture within range between 0.5 and 31.5 percent. The values were delimited using the method of short-time temperature intervals of V.M Volkenstein. The obtained data were processed statistically and graphically. It was found that the enumerated characteristics were influenced by moisture content within a studies range
