Kinetic friction coefficient of nitro-chalk versus moisture content and granule mass
1995
Frontczak, J. (Akademia Rolnicza, Wroclaw (Poland). Inst. Mechanizacji Rolnictwa)
The kinetic friction coefficient has been determined for 4 kinds friction surfaces i.e. for wooden, rubber, teflon and textolite surfaces. As a result it was noted that the friction coefficient increases due to an increase of a moisture content in all cases. At higher values of the axial force, values of this coefficient are lower. The lowest values of this coefficient were observed in the case of wooden surfaces and the highest values were observed in the case of rubber surfaces
