With the increase of the degree of hydromorphism accumulation of total C and N content and improvement of organic matter quality have been found to take place in gleyed light-gray forest soils. Under the influence of drainage humic-fulvic composition of organic matter transforms into fulvic-humic pattern. The content of humic acids in organic matter becomes higher in the backfilling in pipe and fissure drainage systems
