Results of studies and the experience of forecasting the soil erosion caused by rains in tundra areas under reclamation are outlined. An algorithm has been developed for soil rain-induced erosion intensity, and it was tested in a gas-condensate field in Yamal peninsula. A simple nomogram has been proposed for determining the potential erosion of technogenically disturbed sediments
