Effect of fertilizer recipe and time of fertilizer application on yield and yield components of wheat (Triticum aestivum L.)
1991
Kunya Cheaurpun
Yield was increased when was applied fertilizer. The application at the first period of growth, as basal and at double ridges stage, increased spike per area and spikelet per spike. Number of seed per spike was not different at each time of application. And 1,000 grain weight was increased when applied as basal and protein content was increased when applied at ear emergence. Fertilizer recipes were found that there was no yield difference between application of 64 kg/rai of compound fertilizer (15-15-15) at sowing or 32 kg/rai of compound fertilizer at sowing and 23 kg/rai of ammonium sulfate at double ridges stage or at ear emergence (EC 49) but yield was different between varieties, INSEE 1 was higher than INSEE 2 and SMEONG 1.
