Three experiments were designed as follows: the first experiment was on the effects of GML and castor meal on NH4+ content and yield of rice plant grown in Manorom soil and Roi Et soil, the second one was on the effects of filter cake on available P content and yield of rice plant grown in Manorom soil and Roi Et soil and the last one was on the effects of applications of GML in combination with filter cake and castor meal in combination with filter cake on NH4+ and available P content and yield of rice plant grown in Manorom soil and Roi Et soil. GML and castor meal could be effectively used as sources of nitrogen while filter cake could be effectively used as a source of phosphorus for paddy in Manorom soil Roe Et soil. GML and castor meal could be applied in combination with filter cake as sources of nitrogen and phosphorus for paddy in Manorom soil and Roi Et soil.
