Most of the population were males, average age of 43 years old with elementary education. Land-holdings of the population ranged from 1-20 rai. The average income was 125,000 baht per annum. Most of fruit gardeners had experience in using pesticide for about 6-10 years and were members of agricultural groups. The gardeners had appropriate behavior in pesticide application: choosing, mixing, spraying, storaging, destroying containers and medical care. Those who held more than 14 rai of land-holding had more knowledge about pesticide application rather than those who owed smaller land-tenure. The remaining factors such as sex, age, education, income, experience in pesticide application and membership of agricultural groups had been found to have no statistical difference in the application of pesticide at 0.05 level of significance
