The influence of a low concentration of T-2 toxin (0.308 mg/kg of feed) was examined on the immune response of broiler chicks after vaccination against Newcastle disease and Gumboro disease. The results indicate that the group of chicken receiving T-2 toxin in feed had a lower heminhibiting antibody titri against Newcastle disease virus and also a lower precipitin level for Gumboro disease virus. The obtained results indicate that even small quntities of T-2 toxin in feed can have an immunosuppressive effect during the fattening period of broiler chicks.
