The present paper give comparative survey of structure of aquatic vegetation of the DTD (Danube-Tisza-Danube) canal network, namely the section Vrbas-Bezdan, Backi Petrovac-Karavukovo and Jegricka (Yugoslavia). Plant world of these canals is characterized by great diversity due to slow streams canal age (great mud depth), pollution degree, and healing measures. Luxuriant vegetation growth requires its control which on the other hand demands a detailed survey into structure of present flora and also individual plant life.
