Lethal effect and the effect on the population growth caused by hexythiazox, pyridaben, and flucycloxuron were assessed at different developmental stages of Tetranychus urticae Koch. Acute toxicity tests of the acaricides tested were done to determine LC50, and LC90 for larvae and deutonymphs. The influence on the population growth, parameter values (intrinsic rate of natural increase; net reproductive rate; gross reproductive rate; generation time; and finite rate of increase) was observed from survivors in batches treated at suitable developmental stage at approximately LC90 level. In comparison with the control, the acaricidal treatments decreased the intrinsic rate of natural increase. Acaricides also changed the values of other population growth parameters.
