The results of utilization of enzyme preparations in Baltic poultry over the last 10 years

The enzymes were first applied to poultry in Baltic countries in the 1960s. During last 10 years research has switched over from studies of the influence of single enzymes to multienzyme preparates. The influence of enzymes has been tested on other bird species besides hens. The results of experiments have shown that the enzyme preparates are mainly useful, especially in the case of feeds with a high content of barley
