In the present investigation ten blood group loci (EAA, EAB, EAC, EAF, EAJ, EAL, EAM, EAS, EAZ, EAR), five polymorphic blood serum protein and enzyme loci(TF, CP, AMY1, AMY2, HBB) were analyzed in connection with checking the correctness of pedigree data of cattle from 1974 to 1994. The recorded pedigrees of young breeding bulls (n=3448) investigated in 1974-1994 occurred by blood typing to be erroneous in 3.6 to 12.6 per cent of cases, i.e. in 7.4 per cent on the average. In breeding animals (n=2216) investigated in 1991-1993 the parentage was confirmed by blood typing in 82.4 to 95.8 per cent of cases, i.e. in 90.3 per cent on the average. In 1981-1994 the effectiveness of ascertaining of parentage (n=871) was 71.6 to 95.0 per cent, i.e. 83.8 per cent on the average
