A survey of the incidence and severity of Nesidiocoris tenuis, Bemisia tabaci and tomato leaf curl virus in tomato [Lycopersicon esculentum] growing areas in Ghana

A survey of the incidence and severity of Nesidiocoris tenuis and Bemisia sp. and tomato leaf curl virus, was carried out in two phases. The survey on Nesidiocoris was between Nov 1993 and Jan 1994 coinciding with the dry season and at the peak of tomato production. Tomato insects are abundant at this period. The second survey on tomato leaf curl virus disease in the southern zone was done in Feb 1994. Two towns were selected to represent each agroecological zone and six farms selected in each town or village
