Effect of the addition of different levels of dried blood on some physical and chemical properties of soil under corn plant

Field research was conducted to study the effect of the application of different levels of dried blood (200, 160, and 120 kgN/ha as one addition) on some physical and chemical properties of soil. Physical and chemical analysis had been done before planting and after harvesting such as positive and negative ions, EC, PH, bulk density, average of weighted diameter, and base infiltration. Results showed that there was significant increase of EC, and soluble ions (Ca, Na, Cl, SO4, and HCO3) with increasing levels of dried blood. Also there was significant increase of base infiltration and average of weighted diameter with decreasing levels of dried blood.
