Komatsu, M. (Tottori Univ. (Japan). Faculty of Agriculture) | Zhuang, S.
Performances of ground wheels of three types were tested for the fitness for feeding volume control system of a seeder or a fertilizer so as to detect running speeds of a tractor, on which the seeder or the fertilizer is mounted. As a result, the traveling ratio of the ground wheel without lugs is much stable and higher than that of the other two types of ground wheels with lugs of height of 30 mm or 15 mm. And the soil water content is a main variable influencing the traveling ratio of ground wheels compared with cone penetration resistance and contact pressure
