Agricultural Consultation services in the Baltic States and the North-European countries are described and compared. The absence of coordinated cooperation between educational, research and advisory institutions is pointed out. The means available for information distribution are explained. The importance of information distribution about plant protection measures is emphasized. Latvia agricultural consultation service consultation scheme in plant protection is presented.
