Wear of cultivator points on clay soils

Results of field wear tests of cultivator points on clay soil were presented. Linear wear of the cutting edge was measured using a test pattern. The relationship between point wear and the friction path was determined. The effects of spacing cultivator points within the rows and their positioning in or outside tractor tyre tracks on wear intensity was significant
