Influence of agricultural use of soils on their some chemical properties
1995
Sklodowski, P. | Zarzycka, H. (Warsaw University of Technology (Poland). Dept. of Soil Science and Land Conservation)
The aim of the work was to determine the effect of soil use on some chemical properties of soil, such as: soil pH, hydrolytic acidity, exchangeable aluminium and hydrogen content, basic exchangeable cations, cation exchange capacity, percent base saturation, content of compounds soluble in 20% HCL, content of available phosphorus, potassium and magnesium. arable soils, in comparison with forest soils, indicate on increase in the content of exchangeable cations: potassium and sodium, available forms of phosphorus and potassium and iron forms. On the other hand arable soils contain less of exchangeable magnesium and magnesium soluble in 20% HCL
