In 1986-90 and 1993-95 studies were conducted in different regions on the grassland situated on mineral soils to evaluate the nutritive value of green crops depending on conservation method (field curing, artificial drying by forced ventilation, ensiling at high dry matter content). Besides of chemical analyses the fodder were tested in feeding experiments on fattened cattle.
