Effect of cocksfoot on yielding and composition of sward of meadow mixtures

It was shown the different effect of the presence of Dactylis glomerata in different types of mixtures. The response of Polaris arundinacea was negative and that of Alopecurus pratensis - positive. Festuca arundinacea does not respond to the presence of Dactylis glomarata, but it limits the development of weeds and its content in mixtures adds to significantly higher yields. The content of Dactylis glomarata does not cause any considerable differences in fodder yields
