The possibilities of the prevention and control of insect pests of forest tree species fruits and seeds

anglais. The paper contains brief information on a study of the kinds and economic harmfulness of forest fruit and tree insect pests in Slovakia. Based on experiences abroad, protective treatments are profitable only during heavy outbreaks of insect pests, and exclusively in seed orchards where the use of the whole spectrum of methods of integrated forest protection is possible. As the main control method it is recommended to form an insecticidal screen with repeated spraying by contact insecticides. In the case of the outbreak of the weevil (Pissodes validirostris GYLL.) the use of sticky bands in pine seed orchards is recommended

Na zaklade skusenosti zo zahranicia su obranne zasahy rentabilne iba pri silnom premnozeni hmyzich skodcov, a to vylucne v podmienkach semennych sadov, kde je mozne vyuzitie celeho spektra metod integrovanej ochrany lesa. Ako hlavny sposob boja odporucame vytvorenie insekticidnej clony pomocou opakovanych postrekov kontaktnymi insekticidmi. Na zaklade nasich skusenosti odporucame v borovicovych semennych sadoch v pripade premnozenia smoliara siskoveho (Pissodes validirostris GYLL.) pouzitie lepovych pasov
