Prediction of pollutant concentration depending on distance from its source and time is a very important tool in groundwater management. It needs many measurements and a lot of data of geotechnical and hydrological properties of the aquifer as well as its migration characteristics. Adsorption and ion-exchange take place in the pollutant-spreading phenomenon even with conservative pollutants. This is more obvious at longer distances from the pollutant source. This fact is supported by many laboratory and field tracer experiments. The equation of prediction is modified to take adsorption into account
