Experiment was conducted to examine the effect of drying methods on the period of drying and seed quality of mungbean variety PSU-1. A RCB with 4 replicates was used. Drying on steel attained the highest temperature and took the fewest time to achieve the target seed moisture content (9-10 %). Significant differences in percent germination after drying between drying methods were not observed. However, percent germination after aging was reduced 12.8 percent with drying on canvas, compared to 7.6 percent in the other methods. Percent hardseedness of each method was reduced 23 percent after drying and 87 percent after aging.
