15-days old soybean seedlings were treated with Metribuzin (2.4 mM) and Diquat (6.8 mM) on the different light intensities (30, 130, 550 mE/square m s). The photosynthetic pigment contents and ratios (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, pheophytin a, carotenoids, chlorophyll a/chlorophyll b, chlorophyll a/carotenoids) were described in the time of 12 hours. It was found that the light of 130 mE/square m s increased the value of described parameters, while the light of 30 and 550 mE/square m s decreased them in the time. Also, that herbicides affect on chlorophyll b and carotenoids, what is mine to the antenna complex of photosystem 2. Increased light emphasize action of Metribuzin, but there is no effect on Diquat.
