Wine grape cultivars Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot originated from France. They are world wide famous with highest quality red vine traditionally produced in viticultural region of Bordeaux (France). In the last few decades this cultivars are successfully introduced in regions with different climatic conditions in Europe, America, Australia and South Africa. Interest for these cultivars arise in Yugoslavia too. In region of Fruska Gora (Yugoslavia) this cultivars are present only in trials. The experimental results obtained in Sremski Karlovci (Yugoslavia) showed that this cultivars have low yield, especially Cabernet Sauvignon (0.60 kg/square m). They are not susceptible to Botrytis cinerea, and have good resistance to low temperatures. Wine quality is very high.
