Energy savings in ploughing

Comparative analysis of wheeled and crawler tractor types in ploughing was conducted in accordance with standard methods of exploitation testing and characteristics determination. Significantly lower fuel consumption was recorded with crawler tractor, as well as its significant economizing advantage based upon lower fuel consumption per hectare and higher energy generated per litre of fuel.
