Prediction of digestibility and energy nutritive value of Sordan 79 and Trudan 8 through partial veende analysis

Physiologically justified evaluation equations of the content of digestible organic matter, metabolizable energy and feed units for milk in green forage are developed. The prediction of forage energy feeding value is based theoretically on the general model of Weibbach and on indigestible nutrients excreted by the animal with feces, estimated by in vivo constants and by the content of crude fibre.
