The main aims during breeding were productivity, early-ripeness, resistance to leaf mould, high nutritional value and good flavour. F1 'Piibe' is a productive hybrid. It has an indeterminate plant of long height, its fruits are smooth and of uniform size (the average weight is 66g) and they have a pleasant flavour. F1 'Piibe' is relatively resistant to Cladosporium fulvum Cooke. It is recommended that F1 'Piibe' is grown in heated greenhouses
