Nassar, M.A. (Azhar Univ., Cairo (Egypt). Faculty of Agriculture)
The genetics of different 14 morphological, yield and yield components characters of cross obtained between the two cultivars of peas and its reciprocal using different statistical procedures such as; mean S.E., heterosis inbreeding depression, potence ratio, heritability, number of genes involved and correlation between the 14 characters studied. Over dominance were mostly found in most characters of the reciprocal cross, while partial, complete and absence of dominance were also recorded. Heterosis were highly significant and positive in most characters, while negative estimates were also found. Inbreeding depression in F2 generation means were also highly significant and positive in about half the characters studied
