This investigation was conducted in the greenhouse, work was carried out by collecting the cuttings at monthly intervals from Nov.1987 to April 1988. The cuttings of each collection date were treated with different IBA concentrations (i.e.co.500,1000,1500ppm). Factorial experiments with two factors (x4) conducted in split plot in C.R.D.with four replicates, 10 cuttings were used in each replicates. The results indicated that the best time of taking cuttings was in April for obtaining the best. Percentage of rooting(98.7), the mean period for rooting(3.3 weeks), length of roots(10.7cm) and cutting could be taken in Feb., March and April to produce the best rooting percentage (90 - 100), by using the different concentration of IBA
