Symplified measurement of chlorophyll content with portable chlorophyll meter and its examination were investigated for twenty cultivars of Chinese kale. (1) Numerical values with chlorophyll mater and chlorophyll contents in eighth leaf were differed in cultivars of Chinese kale. (2) There was a significant correlations between numerical measured values with the chlorophyll meter and chlorophyll by content or chlorophyll a+b content of the leaves. (3) Numerical values with chlorophyll meter were smaller as leaf weight ratio were smaller in Chinese kale
