The relationship between the yield and quality of field crop rotation plants and rates, ratios of mineral fertilizers, and the content of available nutrients in soddy-gleyic light loamy soil. Summary of the research report presented for habilitation
1997
Petraitiene, V. (Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture, Dotnuva (Lithuania))
The work was carried out over the period 1973-1992 at the Lithuanian Institute of Agriculture in long-term crop rotation trials as well as short-term field and pot experiments. The objective of these experiments is to ascertain the relationship between field crop yield, its quality and structure, some plant diseases, cereal seed qualities, soil microorganisms, agrochemical properties and mineral NPK fertilizer ratios, rates and forms and nutrient content in the soil in Central Lithuania on soddy-gleyic loams, as well as to establish the conditions for the maintenance of stable soil fertility.
