[Investigations of the volumetric solar collector for water heating]

Volumetric solar collectors are simple and cheap. They can heat rather small quantities of water. The heated water from such collector should be used the same day. The methodology to experimentally determine the relationship of the efficiency coefficient of the collector on the solar irradiance and the temperature of the water in the collector's tank and the ambient air. Simultaneously the product of the optical efficiency coefficient of such collector and the factor of absorber efficiency and the product of the heat loss coefficient and the factor of absorber efficiency is determined.
